Chris Kayser founded Cybercrime Analytics in 2016. His mission is to provide the tools needed by Users of Technology (UoT) to enhance their awareness, cyber-safety and cyber-savviness when using technology.

Chris Kayser is the President and CEO of Cybercrime Analytics, a Calgary-based cybercrime consulting and research company. He holds a Master of Criminal Justice with a Subconcentration in Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity, and a Graduate Certificate in Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity from Boston University.
He is a member of the Honors Society of Criminal Justice (Alpha Phi Sigma), an active member of CATA Alliance, CATA Alliance’s eCrime Cyber Council (ECC), American Society of Criminology (ASC), Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), SERENE-RISC, and holds a Chartered Market Technician certification from the Market Technicians Association. He is an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence and Cybercrime, and the Journal of Technical Analysis.
Chris is an active member of the board, editorial reviewer, and Production Manager for the International Journal of Cybersecurity Intelligence & Cybercrime (Boston University) and a member of the Cyber Advisory Board for the Cybercrime Investigation and Cybersecurity undergraduate and graduate programs for the University of Scranton.
Chris is a peer-reviewed published researcher in the field of cybercriminology. His theory peer-review published theory, (RESCAT – Required Elements for a Socially Engineered Cyber Attack Theory) addresses the importance of social engineering as it relates to cybercrime. He is a frequent guest speaker for private industry, law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, and cybercrime organizations, and consultants in the area of cyber-security and cybercrime prevention.
He is the author of two books – “How to Master an Online Degree – A Guide to Success” and “Cybercrime through Social Engineering – The New Global Crisis”.
Chris enjoys writing and playing music (CARAS, CCMA, SOCAN, S.A.C.), golfing, and traveling.
